Canyon State Academy and its family of programs have a rich history in Arizona, grown around a strengths-based approach to help inspire growth and positive change for our community’s at-risk youth.
Community engagement is a vital component to youth success, and there are many ways you can make an impact! Below are examples of ways you can contribute to the cause.
All donations are tax deductible. Canyon State Academy qualifies as a Qualified Foster Care Organization (QFCO) for tax credit donations.
Monetary Donation
Every contribution makes a difference. Your one-time donation or recurring gift helps support the daily programs and activities for youth at CSA.
You can also create a lasting impact through planned giving, including legacy gifts made through your estate or will.
Passageway Scholarships
Want to help perpetuate our youth’s learning? Designate your financial donation to our scholarship foundation, Passageway, where your funds pay for CSA alumni’s higher education tuition and fees—whether college, trade school, or university.
Tax Credit
Donate $618 if filing as “single”, or $1,234 if “married filing jointly”, and claim the dollar-for-dollar maximum tax credit on your Arizona state taxes. Canyon State Academy qualifies as a Qualified Foster Care Organization (QFCO) for tax credit donations.
Clothing & Household Items
RePurposed, our thrift store in the heart of The Village, sells lightly used items and all proceeds support the students at Canyon State Academy! Call our boutique to donate clothing, household items, and small appliances.
Engraved Legacy Brick
Would you like to leave your Legacy at Canyon State Academy? Purchase an engraved brick today with your personalized wording of up to 3 lines with 20 characters per line. These bricks will be placed at the farm in front of the chimney for our students and staff to enjoy for years to come. Contact us to learn more.
Volunteer Your Time
We welcome individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact on youth to volunteer on campus! From tutoring a student, assisting in our training centers, or helping throw holiday parties for our youth—join our volunteer team and help in ways that fit your schedule. Click here to apply.
